Russian student Daria began her university journey at Xi’an International University (XAIU) in Shaanxi, China. The International Cooperation College where she studies not only emphasizes language training and foundational professional courses but also integrates these with China’s exceptional traditional culture. This creates a high-quality platform for international students to develop comprehensively in language skills, professional expertise, and cultural literacy.

In her free time, Daria explores Xi’an with classmates—cycling atop the ancient city walls, visiting the Bell and Drum Towers, and savoring the “Sanqin Combo” (a signature Shaanxi meal). Amidst the vibrant local life of this 13-dynasty ancient capital, she experiences the aesthetics of Chinese living.
“If Xi’an is a bridge connecting past and present,” Daria reflects, “then the International Cooperation College at Xi’an International University(XAIU) is a bridge connecting the world. Here, there are no rigid molds—only soil that respects individuality and encourages innovation.” For her, studying abroad is far more than acquiring knowledge; it is about broadening horizons and fostering mutual cultural understanding.

Xi’an International University (XAIU), founded in 1992, is a private university characterized by its international outlook, practical courses and comprehensive programmes of study.
